Here’s a small set of Moana Surfrider wedding photos, taken on Mai and Nicky’s wedding day. They had their ceremony and reception at Lanikuhonua, where Loretta and I got married last year. It’s always nice working at both of these locations.
Mai and Nicky are both from Japan, and they now live in Hong Kong. It is always an honor for me to be trusted to document such an event before even meeting my clients. Being in Hawaii, it’s often the case that I don’t meet my clients in person before their wedding day.
This couple was a joy to work with. They had a lovely destination wedding, and it took me right back to our wedding day — although Lanikuhonua is such a blank canvas that it looks different every time.
