This past weekend, I had the honor documenting Make-A-Wish Hawaii’s Cirque du Wish event, which took place at the Pacific Aviation Museum on Ford Island.<\/p>\n

Make-A-Wish Hawaii not only helps kids in Hawaii realize their wishes, but also helps wish kids from the mainland, as the number 2 wish among wish kids is to come to Hawaii.<\/p>\n

I am so blessed to be able to contribute to this organization and their causes. One of the wish kids, Skylar, had an amazing wish — one of giving rather than receiving. Skylar has a condition that requires her to wear a hat at all times, and even indoors in most cases. Recognizing that sun protection is important for everyone, Skylar’s wish was to design hats for others and to educate others about sun safety.<\/p>\n

One of the main events was a live wish granting to a girl named Kamaile, whose wish was to go to Disney World. Kamaile’s wish was granted after a beautiful live performance.<\/p>\n

Thanks to Make-A-Wish Hawaii for giving me this opportunity to document this event, and thanks to all who contributed, volunteered, and attended!<\/p>\n
