As a documentary wedding photographer, I’m not just looking for key moments; I’m also looking for unexpected moments. And this was one of those moments.<\/p>\n
Granted, I did get a heads-up as I heard the bagpipes in the distance. But to get the shot also meant that I would momentarily distance myself from my working area to get a decent composition. I still remember that day — the amazing venue, the cool breeze, amazing hors d’oeuvres, warming up under the heat lamps as often as I could, and being ecstatic about using my new 70-200mm lens.<\/p>\n
Photographers remember a lot of details from a day of shooting, no matter how long ago that day was.<\/p>\n
