David contacted me with an idea to propose to his girlfriend in Hawaii, and he wanted some photos to capture the moment. Typically, these photos are shot discreetly, but this time we planned it a little differently.
Cierra was celebrating a special milestone, and David thought it would be a good opportunity to get some photos of her. Add to that the fact that they haven’t had many photos of them together while they’ve traveled before, we now had a pretty good reason to schedule a photo session — some photos of just her, and some photos of the two of them together.
We planned on a couple of locations — the first being Waimanalo Beach. We (David and I) initially thought about planning the proposal to occur there, but eventually we decided to keep her in suspense — if she was ever at all suspicious — and do it at location two.
