A couple of weekends ago, I was asked by a former wedding — well, they renewed their vows and had a ceremony, so I’ll call it a wedding — client of mine to photograph the celebration of her mother’s birthday. Actually, her mother is a twin, so the celebration was for two!
The last time I saw them was about 2 years ago, and their daughter Rose was just a baby. Now she’s all grown up and running around.
I just can’t believe how fast kids grow up. Well, actually I can because I’m getting older much quicker these days. 🙂
Anyway, I had a great time, and I also had some fun photographing the kids. Rose was especially camera friendly, considering she probably doesn’t remember me from 2 years ago. I think she was a bit shy at first, but in no time she was just being herself and I was able to get some pretty cool stuff. My favorite was when she took a piece of the cake off and started eating it before it was served. It just seemed like the thing to do for her at the moment. 🙂
