Make-A-Wish Hawaii went all out on this one to grant a wish for a young girl from Georgia. Six year old Addison wanted to see a unicorn in a rainforest, and word got out that Hawaii was the perfect place to make this happen.
The team at Make-A-Wish Hawaii sought out local actors to play out a fairytale in which Addison goes on a quest with the Prince to help save the Queen and release her from the forest nymphs who’ve captured her. To save the Queen, Addison must find the most beautiful flower in the rainforest, as well as the sweetest fruit. Finally, she must find the lost unicorn that disappeared from the rainforest.
Addison has been fighting lymphoid leukemia for two and a half years, and she is now in remission.
The Make-A-Wish foundation truly cares, and they really go above and beyond to do so much for families near and far. I am so humbled every time I get to be a part of what they do.
Here below are some photos taken on Addison journey. For an enhanced viewing experience, click to see more photos of this rainforest unicorn wish.
