In early March, I had the pleasure of visiting one of my favorite cities — San Francisco, CA. Jenny and Chris are getting married on Maui this year, and they wanted to do an engagement session in their current area of residence. We spent quite a bit of time on this session, as we headed out to Napa, where Chris grew up. It was quite an adventurous day, and we had a few moments of excitement that I won’t go into details about.
Our first stop was at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. This is a wonderful place to shoot, and I find different spots every time (I don’t like doing the same things even if I’m at a familiar location). Our next stop was in Napa, where we searched for mustard fields, vineyards and wineries. We stopped at Beringer Vineyards for a few quick shots before heading to our next location, Muir Woods National Monument.
We did a lot of traveling, and in the end we made it just in time for some photos at the Golden Gate Bridge before it was dark. Finally, we wrapped up the shoot at the piers in San Francisco.
I really look forward to their wedding on Maui this June!
